Camp

Wedding

Two friends of mine from my teaching days in Vietnam, Adam and Janice, decided to tie the knot at a beautiful camp in Southern Ontario. It was a gorgeous September day, all their family and friends arrived early to help set up. Their wedding was fun, light-hearted and full of love. The couple kept things simple and beautiful by using wildflower florals that they had grown in their own garden mixed with some from a farm. The bride’s family folded 1000 paper cranes as a gift to them, a Japanese tradition that is meant to send well wishes to the couple. They saw each other for the first time on their wedding day in a stunning forested area and were later joined by their bridal party for some photos and fun. After their magical ceremony in the forest, the party began. The bride and groom surprised their guests with an amazing performance of Taiko drumming (traditional Japanese drumming) and the dancing continued into the night, under the stars.
